This includes a placement school to build on your experience, a teaching mentor to inspire and encourage best practice within the classroom and a personal tutor to help develop your knowledge of the education system.

Where will I complete my training?
You will complete your apprenticeship programme in a placement school over the course of 12 months.
During the duration of your apprenticeship you will spend 6 of these weeks in a second school to provide you with varied experience and allow you to see another educational institution at work.
In order for you to be supported in your academic training, we will pair you with a personal tutor on a 1-2-1 basis who you will work with once a week.
What must you have to apply?
A passion for education and working with younger learners
A UK-recognised degree or equivalent undergraduate degree; 2.2 or above
GCSE C or above in English Language and Maths
GCSE C or above in Science – if you wish to train as a primary educator
Legal status to work without restriction within the UK
Excellent English skills – written and verbal
