Trainee Maths Teacher
Are you looking to get into teacher training and trying to find a route that will suit you?
Would you be interested in a practical, non-fee paying course that will provide you with Qualified Teacher Status in just one year?
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme are looking for a Trainee Maths Teacher based in and around West London to begin the programme as early as this summer. This school-based route into teacher training will see you working in a classroom from the very beginning – working alongside qualified and experienced teachers to deliver the best quality education for your students.
As a Trainee Maths Teacher, you will get the unique benefit of combining theoretical and practical learning, supplementing your work in the school with off-site training days designed to provide the pedagogy that you can put into practice in the classroom. With this, you will be guided and advised by a large support network extending to a personal tutor, in-school mentors and the training provider, who are available to help and tailor your training to the individual.
In addition to this, a Trainee Maths Teacher will receive a salary throughout the programme that is paid in line with an unqualified teacher, and you will not have to pay any course fees. This means that you can concentrate on your students’ learning and develop your own skills set without having to worry about financial burdens or returning to university.
