Science Trainee Teacher

We are working in collaboration with 28 schools and colleges in the Bolton, Greater Manchester area, supporting each with their recruitment of trainee teachers with placements starting in January 2021. Led by an exceptionally strong leadership team, this group of schools has a network which expands far and wide, sharing learning and collaborating with innovative schools and practitioners nationally. This supports trainee teachers in that they are able to build a stronger foundation of best practice in leadership, teaching and learning.
Situated across Bolton, most of the schools are easily accessible by road or public transport. With various educational facilities as part of the community, you are sure to find the right school for you within this unique group. As a Science Trainee Teacher, you can expect to gain experience across year groups and key stages throughout your twelve month programme. Additionally, you will have access to excellent resources throughout your year as an apprentice.
The successful Science Trainee Teacher will be someone who can meet the below requirements:
– Completed a Bachelor of Honours in a Science field (2.2 or above)
– Right-to-work full-time in the UK
– Passionate about teaching and good subject knowledge in Science
– GCSE’s C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
– Seeking responsibility and further experience within the classroom
