Physics Trainee Teacher

We are working in collaboration with a number of partnership schools across the country in the enrolment of quality graduates of physics/science trainees to start in September 2021. As a Physics Trainee Teacher, you can expect to gain experience across year groups and key stages throughout your twelve month programme. Being employed directly by a school, you will receive a salary for your time on the programme and even better – you won’t be required to pay any tuition fees for your training.

The successful Physics Trainee Teacher will be someone who can meet the below requirements without exception:
– Completed a Bachelor of Honours in a science field (preferably physics and must be 2.2 or above)
– Right-to-work full-time in the UK; you must have been based within the UK/EU for the three years prior to application (since 2018)
– Excellent subject knowledge in science/physics
– GCSE’s C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
– Seeking responsibility and further experience within the classroom; you will be teaching from term one
– The ability to support, challenge and inspire students – encouraging them to be their best
– A strong classroom presence to achieve high levels of student engagement
