Physics Trainee Teacher
An Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school in the Sheffield area is looking for a Physics Trainee Teacher to join their successful team and secure Qualified Teacher Status with their support. This is a long-term-to-permanent appointment to commence in April 2021, although an earlier or possibly later start could be arranged for the right Physics Trainee Teacher.

As a Physics Trainee Teacher working towards QTS, you will have your own timetabled classes in which you yourself will take on the responsibility of teaching and supporting your own cohort of learners in the subject of Physics and Science. This will include teaching Physics across various year groups and taking responsibility of preparation and planning of lessons across your 12 months on programme. In order to apply for this role of Physics Trainee Teacher, you will need to meet a few minimum requirements, without exception, including:
-Bachelor of Honours in Physics or similar area (2.2 or above is expected for this position)
-GCSE C or above in English and Maths is required; an A-Level in Physics is also preferred but not essential
-A passion for physics and confident abilities in teaching
-Right-to-work in the UK full-time; you will also have to have been ordinarily resident in the UK (and/or EU) for the three previous years due to apprenticeship rules
-Experience working with students in some capacity is not required but is preferred
