Teaching Apprenticeship Programme – Paid Teacher Training – Secondary Teaching
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme are working with a number of secondary schools across London who would like to hear from graduates looking to start their Paid Teacher Training this summer or in September.
You might be pleasantly surprised to find that you’re not too late to find a place on a Paid Teacher Training course for next academic year! In fact, through the Teaching Apprenticeship Programme you could even start before the summer holidays giving you a 6 week window to get ahead on your coursework (and you’ll get paid for it, too).
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is a Paid Teacher Training course allows you to obtain Qualified Teacher Status whilst earning a salary in excess of £20,000 and without having to worry about paying course fees as the school will cover this for you. Whilst you are on the course you will receive support from experienced staff within the school, your in-school mentor and an external tutor will pay regular visits to the school to ensure that you are making adequate progress and the school is supporting you well.
Entry Criteria for Paid Teacher Training
- Bachelor’s degree in/related to the subject you would like to teach
- Cs or above in GCSE Maths & English
- Must have lived in the UK, EU or EEA for the last 3 years consecutively
