Mathematics Trainee Teacher
An Ofsted graded good school in the Birmingham area is looking for a Mathematics Trainee Teacher to join their successful team and secure Qualified Teacher Status with their support. This is a fixed term appointment to commence in January 2021, with the consideration of you for a future qualified role at the same school. A start earlier than January could be arranged for the right Mathematics Trainee Teacher.

The Ofsted report acknowledges the committed team of leaders and management within the school commenting that “Attention to pupils’ personal development and welfare is a particular focus in this inclusive school. The successful Mathematics Trainee Teacher will be based in a high-performing department which welcomes innovation and new ideas. As a trainee working towards QTS, you will have your own timetabled classes in which you yourself will take on the responsibility of teaching and supporting your own cohort of learners. This will include teaching Mathematics across various key stages and years, with mixed ability.
In order to apply for this role, you will need to meet a few minimum requirements including:
-Bachelor of Honours in Mathematics (2.2 or above)
-GCSE C or above in English and Maths
-Developed skills in Mathematics
-Right-to-work in the UK full-time
-A passion for teaching (experience not required but is preferred)
