In recent years, the school has seen a vast improvement in results under new leadership. Immensely proud that, they have celebrated three consecutive years of the best GCSE results the school has on record. The students celebrated a huge jump, achieving 67% Grades 9-4/A*-C in English and Maths compared to 40% in 2016, which has then been further improved year on year and is now 76%.
This is an excellent opportunity for a History Trainee Teacher looking to work in a good outer London school where students behave exceptionally well. The Ofsted report acknowledges the harmonious and peaceful learning environment where there is a rich programme in place to support pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
The successful History Trainee Teacher will present a passion for their subject with a solid academic record in History; a 2.2 or above History undergraduate degree in addition to C’s or above in GCSE English and Maths. A good result in History A-Level is preferred but not essential if ability in the subject has been demonstrated elsewhere.
Whether you’re a newly graduated individual looking for an excellent teacher training programme or a school-experienced educator looking to progress in your career and achieve your QTS – apply now!
