Engineering Apprentice Teacher
The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is always seeking Engineering graduates for STEM-based teacher training. With a number of routes available for you to consider including Design & Technology, Physics and Mathematics – there is a world of opportunity for 2020. Don’t wait until September 2020 to begin your journey towards gaining QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) when we have apprenticeships to be secured in January and April.
Under our teacher training route you will be supplied with a beneficial salary, a fee-free route to gaining your QTS, the support of a member from your School Leadership Team in addition to a Personal Tutor. As well as a flexible starting date you will be be working towards the possibility of securing a more permanent contract – thus, continuing your educational career with the very people who helped encourage you in the classroom as an educator.
In order to be eligble for an apprenticeship you must evidence the ability to work in the UK, have an undergraduate degree 2.2 or above in a relevant subject area as well as GCSE Maths and English C or above. During the interview stage you will be expected to display a passion for your subject and the drive to develop your teaching abilities in the future.
