Drama Trainee Teacher
Salaried QTS Teacher Training – Newham, London
As a Drama Trainee, you can help pupils discover and nurture new talents – and there’s more to that than the purely theatrical and production sides of the subject. You’ll build pupils’ confidence and improve their ability to face important life challenges such as public speaking – making drama a subject that all young people deserve to be taught to the highest standard. This is upheld at the school where this particular placement is based with Ofsted grading the school as ‘Outstanding’ as a happy and harmonious place where students’ achievement is outstanding because GCSE results are very high compared with the national average.

Demonstrating the importance of drama and how it intertwines with other subjects, as a Drama Trainee, you will encourage mutual respect between students and staff. Poor behaviour undermines this by damaging the trust that underpins all relationships in this exceptional school and by wasting valuable learning time.
