Drama Apprentice Teacher
Drama Apprentice Teacher – Paid Teacher Training
Do you have a love for drama? Experience working or volunteering with the youth of today? Eager to start your teacher training earlier than September 2020? Our Drama Apprentice Teacher role could be ideal for you – a paid teacher training route to gaining your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) starting as early as April 2020.
As a drama teacher, you can help pupils discover and nurture new talents – and there’s more to that than the purely theatrical and production sides of the subject. You’ll build pupils’ confidence and improve their ability to face important life challenges such as public speaking – making drama a subject that all young people deserve to be taught to the highest standard. Working in the classroom over 12 months during the majority of your training will be one of the most immersive experiences available to you as a trainee in education.
Minimum requirements for applicatiomn include a 2.2 or above in a relevant undergraduate degree, C or above in GCSE Maths and English and eligibility to work in the UK full-time. Experience with children/students is preferred but not essential. If you want to be considered for our Drama Apprentice Teacher positions in the new year – simply submit an application and we will be in touch. If successful you will be placed on our waiting list – once a suitable placement becomes available we will contact you; due to the number of applications we receive we will not be able to speak with you on the phone regarding your application until such time as a placement is available.
