Computing Trainee Teacher

A secondary school in the Bolton area is looking for a Computing Trainee Teacher to join their successful team. This is a long-term to permanent appointment to commence in September 2020. Although an earlier start could be arranged for the right Computing Trainee Teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Computing Trainee Teacher looking to work in a Bolton school that is an integral part of the local community. The successful Computing Trainee Teacher will be based in a high-performing department which welcomes innovation and new ideas. With access to good resources and through CPD offered at the school, a Computing graduate working here will be able to excel in their career and of course, achieve their Qualified Teacher Status. The timetable will include teaching Computing across Ks3 & 4 with the support of both a Teaching Mentor and Personal Tutor.

Teaching Apprenticeship Programme is currently working in partnership with a large number of secondary schools in Bolton to secure graduates for teacher training in a number of subject areas. In order to be eligible to apply, you must have an undergraduate degree 2.2 or above (Computing-related) in addition to your GCSE-equivalents C or above in Maths and English. Experience is always beneficial, however if you perform well during initial stage of application (CV and phone call) then it is likely you will be invited to take part in a video interview over Zoom in the coming weeks.
